About Badrinath
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and nestled between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges at 3,133m. The vibrant temple, Tapt Kund hot springs and Mana Village — India's last village before Tibet — create an unforgettable confluence of faith and Himalayan beauty.
Badrinath is the most accessible of the Char Dhams, reachable entirely by road. The temple opens each year in April/May with the Brahma Kapal ritual and closes in November with the Makar Sankranti ceremony.
