Overview
Rajaji National Park, sprawling across 820 square kilometres near Haridwar, is one of Uttarakhand's most accessible wildlife destinations. Named after the freedom fighter C. Rajagopalachari, the park is home to over 500 Asian elephants, making it one of the best places in North India for elephant sightings in the wild.
Beyond elephants, the park harbours Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, king cobras and over 400 bird species including the great pied hornbill. The Chilla and Motichur ranges offer diverse habitats from dense sal forests to open grasslands along the Ganga.
This 2-day package is ideal for wildlife enthusiasts who want a quick getaway from Delhi or those visiting Haridwar for pilgrimage. Combine your morning safari with an evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri for a uniquely Uttarakhand experience blending nature and spirituality.
